- so this is my baby isla. she’s a twenty seven year old photographer (think quinn from oth)
- she comes from a rather large family. there are 9 of them, 4 biological and 5 adopted. they are all super close, and isla loves it, but it put her off having children of her own
- isla originally went to college with dreams of going off to law school afterwards, and following in her father’s footsteps and opening up her own practice. but in her senior year she decided that actually she didn’t want to become a lawyer, and so after graduation she packed a bag and went off on her travels
- she spent the next four years making her way around the world. she would teach english, work in bars and sell her photographs to make enough money to keep her going.
- it was during her traveling that she rediscovered her love for photography, a love that had been neglected since high school. it was when people started showing interest in her photos that she realised she could make a living out of doing the thing that she loved.
- isla is a big kid. peter pan is her hero, and she truly believes she is the next peter pan. she seems to have missed the memo about how adults should act, and still continues to act like a five year old.
- she finds it very hard to be serious, but then gets annoyed when people don’t take her seriously. the only aspect of her life that has anything seriousness is within her job, and even then she struggles with it.
- she doesn’t understand the concept of responsibility or being responsible for someone or something. she’s rather selfish in that way, putting herself before most people, except her family and those closest to her.
- she’s impulsive, choosing to jump into the unknown. she doesn’t understand the meaning of consequences and goes for it, dealing with everything else when it happens.
- she’s short tempered, jumping from one emotion to the next within seconds. she’s passionate in every sense. passionate about life, passionate about her jobs, passionate about her family, passionate in the way she loves and passionate in the way she hates.
- she’s stubborn, hates being wrong, and if something doesn’t go her way the first time she just gives up.
- she is currently doing through a phase where she drinks a lot and has a lot of sex. she’s very defensive about it as well, especially when people try to criticise her for it. she doesn’t really understand why it’s anyone business what she does in her spare time.
- she has a problem with the concept of love, simply because her last proper relationship, in high school, was a train wreck. but that’s all about to be blown to smithereens when said boyfriend comes back into her life.
- so yes. she needs the rest of her family (here), friends, a few one night stands and flings
just posting this again, incase anyone else is interested and hasn’t seen it! so this is my official request for the rest of hudson family. there are 9 of them, four biological and five adopted. what they do is pretty much all up to you, although i imagine one of the younger ones may have followed their father into law… isla was supposed to, but then dropped out. so yes, if anyone wants to throw their character in please let me know! ages and genders are changeable, but i would like the ages to be similar, and a pretty even mix of boys and girls.

okay so my girl is going to be 26, and she’s going to be a sports journalist (or music… but probably sports) (and i think me and priya are making a family who all are involved in journalism in some way or another, more to come on this later) and she’s going to be a real tomboy and the kind of girl that guys never consider as anything more than a friend, and yeah that’s all i know right now… hoping her face will be teresa palmer (w/ lizzie olsen and felicity jones as backups) and so yeah, she’ll need friends and lovers, so if anyone wants to do anything?
